"Liberation" is a project undertaken during the final year of university studying and was produced as a way of demonstrating everything that had been undertaken in other individual modules up to this point, including modelling, animation and texturing.

It represents a key point in the Seeking Fate Trilogy (a series of novels that is under development) in which a band of survivors drift aimlessly in space, generations after Earth had been attacked and destroyed by a mysterious nemesis. Now, many years since they have had any communication with fellow humans, and not knowing if they are the last of their race, a group embark on a mission to find out the truth behind the devastating attack.

But the mysterious nemesis is watching and waiting for its chance to finish the job it started all of those years ago...

In "Liberation", the survivors encounter their nemesis and attempt to put up a fight. To convey the idea that the crew are without a home planet, the interior of their craft, the "Liberator", was designed to represent elements of Earth, from the colour scheme, to the Dock Center with it's organic elements and large, 'tree-like' canopy structure.
